The premier venue in Bexley for civil ceremonies

Hall Place is a fine Tudor Mansion built almost 500 years ago in the reign of Henry VIII for Lord Mayor of London, Sir John Champneys. It boasts a magnificent panelled Great Hall and Minstrels Gallery. The house is situated in formal award winning gardens overlooking the River Cray. The gardens provide a beautiful setting for your wedding photographs.

The Great Hall and the Drawing Room are both sanctioned for civil ceremonies, either for the more intimate service of up to 40 or for the larger group of up to 100. The house is a Grade 1 listed building, which offers an opportunity for a ceremony at an unusual and stunning venue.

Follow your ceremony by leading your guests out in to the private gardens from the Great Hall or out on to the topiary lawn to capture that special moment. Reception drinks can be provided if required.
