Gardens

Enjoy a relaxing stroll in our 65 hectare estate. Whatever the season, there is always a spectacular show in on award-winning gardens.

Look out for the stunning Queen’s Beast topiary sculptures (pictured above), the herbaceous borders and the romantic wildflower meadow.

The Hall Place gardens are one of only a handful of sites in the UK to have won the Civic Trust’s Green Flag award every year since its inception in 1996 and also have coveted Green Heritage Site status.

Our busy wildlife will always keep you entertained. Watch out for squirrels, wagtails, geese, exotic ring-necked parakeets and even our resident kingfisher.

The former walled gardens have display gardens, model gardens and a sub-tropical glasshouse with a host of exotic plants, where you can see bananas ripening in mid-winter as well as fish a terrapins in the pond.
