Contemporary art in a historic setting with three artists as they showcase different ways of working using collecting and collections as inspiration for their work.

Art of the Everyday (Still-life)
This exhibition will provide a platform for students from Bexley College to exhibit their work. The exhibition will showcase a number of students covering a range of disciplines from drawing, painting, sculpture, design, photography and printmaking all exploring still-life.

The Stone of Time
Adam Wei
The main theme of this exhibition comes from the ‘Yin Yang’ philosophy originating from oriental culture. The work consists of large pieces, with circles being present in almost all the paintings.

An Insects View: Flowers by Carole King
Colourful oil paintings and original prints inspired by wild and cultivated flowers using macro images and unusual viewpoints.

This modern exhibition provides a fascinating insight into the artist’s mind. Using oil paint applied on photographs by pallet knife, this exhibition focuses on the journeys of life and influences that influence us.

The Art of Deception in Watercolour
Vyvyan Hilder
Former graphic designer Vyvyan provides an exhibition that uses watercolours in a stylised manner, highlighting the pleasures of watercolour. The subjects for the exhibition are everyday scenes, which inspire the artist.

An Eye for Detail
Wildlife Paintings by Ian Kent
After the success of his 2005 exhibition, the award winning wildlife artist Ian Kent, can once again be seen in the Chapel Gallery displaying over 30 new pieces of work. Best known for his photo-realistic approach and use of light, the theme of this exhibition work is very much British Wildlife, particularly British Birds.

Magic of the Lens
Danson and District Amateur Camera Club
A collection of framed photographs from members of the Danson and District Amateur Camera Club displaying a variety of subjects and media to reflect their personal interest in photography.

A Way of Life

This exhibition explores the modern usage of Chinese and Japanese ideograms. The paintings are produced using ink calligraphy.
