After losing her parents and being shipped from India to the Yorkshire Moors, Mary Lennox is terribly lonely. Living in her uncle’s gloomy mansion, she has nobody to play with. But one day, she learns of a secret garden somewhere in the grounds that her uncle won’t allow anyone to enter. Then Mary uncovers an old key in a fl owerbed - and a gust of magic leads her to the hidden door. Enjoy open-air performances on summer evenings in the private landscaped gardens at Danson. Bring a low backed chair or rug to sit on and a picnic to enjoy before or during the performance. Refreshments including hot and cold drinks, wine and snacks will be available to buy on the night. All tickets available from the booking line on 01322 621238. Tickets available late spring and advance booking is strongly advised, although in some cases tickets may be available on the night. Please telephone in advance to check. Tickets will not be sent out. They can be collected in advance from the box office at Hall Place, Bexley or from Danson House on the night.
